ACUTE LYMPHOBLASTIC LEUKAEMIA
A rapidly progressing cancer of the blood affecting the type of whitebloodcell known as lymphocytes. Approximately 650 new cases are diagnosed each year in the UK and it is the most generalform of childhood leukaemia.
