TONIC-CLONIC SEIZURE
A type of seizure that results in loss of consciousness, generalisedmuscle contractions, urinary incontinence, tongue biting and a post-ictal state (confusion and lethargy) next cessation of the seizure.
Synonym: grand-mal seizure.
