ATP CITRATE (PRO-3S)-LYASE
An enzyme that, in the presence of ATP and CoA, catalyses the cleavage of citrate to yieldacetyl CoA, oxaloacetate, ADP, and orthophosphate. This reaction represents an significant step in fattyacid biosynthesis.
