EXTERNAL CAROTID NERVES

A number of sympathetic nerve fibres conveyed via the cephalic arterial ramus of the sympathetic stem which extends from the superior cervical ganglion to the outside carotid artery, forming the outside carotid plexus. Synonym: nervi carotici externi.
