MELPHALAN
An alkylating nitrogenmustard that is used as an antineoplastic in the form of the levo isomer - melphalan, the racaemicmixture - merphalan, and the dextro isomer - medphalan; toxic to bone marrow, but few vesicant action; potential carcinogen.
