Mexican bindweed, a
plant of the
family Convolvulaceae, the
seeds of which were used in ceremonies by Aztec Indians in Mexico and contain lysergic
acid amide, isolysergic acid, lysergic
acid monoethylamide, chanoclavine, and another
indole alkaloids; different
hundred seeds should be ingested to manufacture hallucinatory and euphoric effects.
