SECRETORY PROTEIN
In eukaryotes, proteins synthesised on roughendoplasmicreticulum and destined for export. Almost all proteins secreted from cells are glycosylated (in the Golgi apparatus, although there are exceptions (albumin). In prokaryotes, secreted proteins may be synthesised on ribosomesassociated with the plasmamembrane or exported post translation.
